Green Mountain Coffee Fair Trade

This is fantastic coffee. I love the flavor and aroma. The convenience of the K-Cup is great to throw in my lunch and brew for an afternoon delight.

GREAT COFFEE, GOOD VIBES, CHOOSE FAIR TRADE™

Who’d have guessed one of your favorite daily routines could have such a positive impact on the lives of people worldwide? When you choose Fair Trade Certified™ Green Mountain Coffee® K-Cup® packs for your Keurig® brewer, you’re helping coffee-farming communities improve their quality of life.
The Fair Trade movement allows farmers to get a fair price for their beans, which leads to community development projects like new schools, improved roads, and safer drinking water.

THREE CONTINENTS, ONE GREAT CUP OF COFFEE

The only thing that might be richer than the benefits of purchasing Fair Trade coffee are the flavors. As the largest purchaser of Fair Trade Certified™ coffee, Green Mountain Roasters, Inc. (the parent company of Green Mountain Coffee®) knows the quality is second to none. That’s why they offer a wide selection of Fair Trade coffees, including brand-new Three Continent Blend, which combines the flavors and aromas of South America, Africa, and Asia into one harmonious Extra Bold Blend.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

****As many of you know Im a BzzAgent, I frequently receive free full sized products to test and in exchange I give my honest true opinion of the product.

WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!

Whether it’s for weekday meals or casual celebrations, Deli Fried Chicken from The Kroger Co. Family of Stores is a winning idea for three simple reasons — it’s fresh, never frozen and always hand breaded in your local store. Forgo fast food in favor of a meal that’s just as fast, affordable and made fresh each day Prepared using quality chicken, a special hand breading recipe and 100% trans-fat free oil, giving you a more wholesome way to put tender fried chicken on the table Part of a hot chicken offering that includes everything from baked and rotisserie chicken, tenders and wings to 8-piece Fried Chicken Dinners and 250-
piece Party Packs Available exclusively in the deli department at The Kroger Co. Family of Stores.

This was truely one of the tastiest campaigns I have been on. This Chicken was so flavorful, crispy, hot and juicy. I couldn't just eat one peice, I ate 3!  We paired it with Diet Coke and some Kroger Brand Kettle chips for a quick fun dinner.

I will definately be purchasing again.

CARBmaster by Kroger

****As many of you know Im a BzzAgent, I frequently receive free full sized products to test and in exchange I give my honest true opinion of the product.

""CARBmaster cultured dairy blends are lower in carbs, calories and sugar than regular yogurt."

The CARBmaster yogurt, (not the CARBmaster Greek) is a great idea but not a taste satisfying yogurt. This needs to have more fruit to replace the sugar that is definately missing.   My son and I had this for breakfast one morning and we both said, "hmmmmmm wheres the flavor.....it tastes like nothing".

The CARBmaster Greek was the best of them all. The flavor was just right. Not to sweet and had an actual flavor.

The CARBmaster Greek Lite, left me wanting something additional...again another yogurt that tasted like nothing.

Its really concerning to me how I am so conditioned to "sugar' being in my yogurt, which I really had a problem with for a long time.  Now that I have the choice I'm finding I'm not satisfied with the concept.

I will purchase the CARBmaster Greek, not the Lite and definately not the regular CARBmaster yogurt.

Try it maybe you'll find it better than I did.

Only the GREEK FOR ME!!!

LEAN CUISINE® Salad Additions™

****As many of you know Im a BzzAgent, I frequently receive free full sized products to test and in exchange I give my honest true opinion of the product.

LEAN CUISINE® Salad Additions™

In four flavors:
Cranberry & Chicken,
Asian-style Chicken,
Bistro Chicken and
Southwest-style Chicken

Salad Additions combines premium ingredients with perfectly paired dressings in a package you can heat up and add to any lettuce you choose.

I'm truly excited with this new product. I have been more than bored with my own salad creations. These have added zest and zing to my lunch menu.

I found them at WalMart on sale for $2.50 each. I had one Free coupon & 3 $1.00 off coupons and purchased all 4 flavors to try.

The first one I tried was the Southwest Style Chicken, it was fantastic. The beans, corn and tortilla chips with the zesty zingy chipotle dressing made this salad delicious!!! This is my favorite of them all by far!!

The second one I tried was the Cranberry & Chicken. I was not a fan of this one at all.  The cranberry dressing was watery and not enough, the veggie combination was not complimentary to any of it.

The third one I tried was the Bistro Chicken. I loved the asparagus and the tangy vinaigrette dressing with the chicken but was not liking how the cooking of the meat packet made the peppers slimy. It was very good just didn't like the peppers.

The fourth one I tried was the Asian-Style Chicken. YUMMY!!! This was a fantastic combination. I loved the pineapple, the edamame, the ginger flavored dressing and crispy noodles. This is another favorite of mine.

These are a fantastic creation. I think they could consider making the packaging smaller to fit in a lunch bag-the box was kind of big. I also think they should consider going back to the drawing board with the Cranberry & Chicken. They should also maybe consider, with some, a separate package of stuff that you shouldn't heat up like a blue cheese pack etc. There should be a vegetarian selection as well-all of these have the meat with the veggies in the heat pack-no way to separate them.

I'm very pleased with most of these. I love this idea!!!

This is unlike anything Ive seen before. Two colors in a double ended lipstick.  I love these options. Lots of colors for everyone whether you are blonde, brunette, red hair, African American, Latino etc. These are fantastic.  I love the simplicity of carrying less makeup but having more.
These are a two thumbs up!!

Green Mountain Wellness Collection Coffee

I'm a BzzAgent. I receive free full sized products to test/try and give my honest opinion.  I recently was ask to try this product from Green Mountain Coffee.

I tried this in my Keurig and brewed a nice cup of coffee. No bitter, chemical, or vitamin taste. Just a nice cup of coffee.

I believe the effects of the focus blend and or the antioxidant will come over time after repeated use.

Try it!

Glade Expressions

I'm a BzzAgent. I receive free full sized products to test/try and give my honest opinion.  I recently was ask to try this product from Glade.

I love this stuff. The Lavender and Juniper Berry scent is fantastic. I tried the Lavender scent in mist sprayer and the oil diffuser. Not too strong, not to soft just right.  The containers are very decorative and go well with my coastal, neutral color decor.
Try this stuff, its surprisingly awesome!

Thank you God for the wonderful, peaceful, restful holidays! They are over and everyone is healthy and happy!

I did very little grocery shopping over the last 8 weeks-my supply was just enough that I didn't go without and had just what I needed for the most part. I did pick up a few things to take to some Christmas parties but for daily meals I had plenty of supplies.

Now its time to get back into the "couponing" and rebuild what I tore down! My list consists of eggs, bread, soup, ready made meals (Lean Cuisine) along with Light Bulbs, Laundry Soap, Dishwasher Detergent and a dish scrubber/sponge.

I'm looking forward to the 6 inserts in tomorrows Macomb Daily paper!!!

Cheaper Wellness

For those of you who use Wellness Dog or Cat food I found a blog "Wellness Dog Food Coupons" that tracks and posts coupons monthly for the food.

I was able to click on the US DRY coupon and print it but there seems to be a bit of trouble with the US WET link which goes to the DRY.

Shelved, ripped off & updated!

From my past experience with shelves being clear of the sale items, I figured I'd outsmart the "shelfclearer" by doing my small bit of Meijer shopping at 10pm on a Saturday night. Who could possibly be shopping at that hour on a Saturday night? Right?

There was very few people shopping at that hour which was nice, kind of felt like the store was my playground. I had managed to find a couple of things on my list but was very disappointed that the shelves for some of the other items were once again empty.

Scan first Type last!

If you participate in the Meijer MPerks program you will save more $ by scanning your printed coupons prior to typing in your Mperks number.

Here's why...

Most of the times the Mperks coupon value is less than the printed one available on the Internet or in the newspaper inserts and Mperks coupons do not double.

At the end of your order scan your higher value coupons (which double) first, then type in your Mperks number to ensure you get the greatest savings.

Tips to Create a Stockpile

By Corrie @ "Cents"able Momma (November 7, 2008)

This is a great post and a wealth of info I found from "Cents"able Momma, her button/link is on my the side of my blog.

Thank you "Cents"able Momma!

One of the tools that I use to save money on groceries and household goods is to create a stockpile. Basically, I’ll purchase non-perishable items when they are at rock bottom prices even if I don’t necessarily need them at that very moment and store them in my “pantry”. Then, when I am making my menu plan and grocery list I can “shop” myself first.
How do I do this?
The key is to match store sales with my coupons. I actually have several tools that I use to achieve this:
  • I check out the CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid deals on various blogs to get the best prices on household items like toothpaste, deodorant, razors, etc. Many times, I can get these items for free or almost free.
  • I personally use The Grocery Game for my grocery purchases, because I don’t feel like maintaining my own price book, and I’m not very good at remembering what is a good price for an item. The Grocery Game gives me a list each week for my grocery store (although you can pick multiple stores) for items along with the coupon that matches the item, and whether the item is at a price good enough to stock up or only to get if you really need it. Lately, I’ve been saving about 50% off my grocery bill by matching sales and coupons. There is a cost to the Grocery Game, though. It’s about $1.25 a week for one store. If you want to try it out, you can get a free 4 week trial.

RXs for Less

OK I'm not feeling windy today so this will be short and sweet..........I came across this site by my frivolous hyper speed clicking through someones blog, I would love to give that person credit but can't remember whose it was-my sincerest apologies.

Internet Drug Coupons

You don't have to do the "card" to get the discounts. Just search the list for your medication, click it on and it takes you to the Drug company itself where you can print the coupon.
