Scan first Type last!

If you participate in the Meijer MPerks program you will save more $ by scanning your printed coupons prior to typing in your Mperks number. 

Here's why...

Most of the times the Mperks coupon value is less than the printed one available on the Internet or in the newspaper inserts and Mperks coupons do not double.

At the end of your order scan your higher value coupons (which double) first, then type in your Mperks number to ensure you get the greatest savings.

If you type in your Mperks at the beginning of your order, the Mperks coupon takes precedence and will not allow you to use any other coupon for that item. The system will not apply the Mperks coupon if the printed higher value coupon is already scanned. (I don't know if the unused Mperks coupon retains in your account or not.) 

Additionally, once you clip the Mperks coupon you can not remove it from your account, it only deletes when it expires.

This does not apply to the Meijer Mealbox coupon only the Mperks.
